"The Work of The Weavers"

A traditional Scottish song

sung and played by Patricia L. Cummings

An Iris quilt mini made by Patricia Cummings from a photo by James Cummings

Listen closely to the words:

"to crack" = to chat"
"claith" = cloth
"mak" = make
"ken" =  know
"woo" = wool

Update on 9/14/07 - Thanks to Ursula from Dundee, Scotland for providing a better translation of the word, "ken."

The CD, "Folkmusic from Scotland," shown on the right side scroll bar, is the only music CD I found on amazon with this song.
