Poetry in Spanish
"La Rosa Blanca" is one of my favorite poems in the Spanish language. It is a poem of peace, written by José Martí, a Cuban nationalist, as part of a greater work entitled, "Versos Sencillos," a selection well worth your time.
"Meciendo," by post-modernist, Chilean poet, Gabriela Mistral revolves around her musings while rocking a baby.
