Oh, Mary Don't You Weep

a traditional folk song based on the Book of Exodus

sung by Patricia Cummings

oak leaf

An Oak is known for being a sturdy tree. This song is about faith and freedom. May those two elements of life be a constant, for you.

This quilt block is a reproduction of an antique potholder in the collection of Patricia Cummings. The design is unique and had to be re-created in a different manner than the original because the fabric used in the original was an integral part of the design.
