The following thumbnail images are your index to all the embroidery images from the quilt. You may use the thumbnail images to make a small work, such as you might use in crazy quilting, by right clicking on the image and choosing copy. To use the image's original size as it was on the quilt top, click on the thumbnail to go to the image, which you may print directly. Additionally, you may copy and paste any image, from other parts of this book, into your favorite image editor (such as Adobe Photoshop Elements) to resize the image for your intended use. To read directions for resizing images go to this page of the Just For Fun Redwork book. Use your browser's back button to return here. Just For Fun Redwork also has stitch directions and stitch diagrams.
In some cases, there are more than one design on each page, since some of the blocks consist of more than one image. We combined some of the smaller motifs onto single pages for economy of use. When you open the large line drawings, you will find that some of them are oriented sideways. This is so they will fit on a standard size piece of paper.
We had difficulty identifying some of the images. Some are quite primitive-looking. Are they from coloring books, or illustrated books for children? Are they simple penny squares or magazine illustrations? Were they hand drawn by the original embroiderer? We would be quite pleased to hear from anyone who knows the origins of any of these delightful images. Contact us at: pat@quiltersmuse.com
