This miniature quilt was designed by Patricia Cummings and is based on a larger quilt in her collection.
I can't tell you how much fun it was to go through my scrap bag and choose small scale floral prints for the puppies. The original textile also features bright pink sashings, so I kept that feature in place. I adapted this quilt for use on a specific doll bed by decreasing the size of the top border. I discovered a delightful "dog bones" fabric at a quilt shop on the very day that I wanted to choose just the "right" border print. The quilt shown measures 22 3/4" x 23 1/8."
